National Award winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta has roped Swetha Basu Prasad, who was arrested for alleged involvement in sex racket in September this year, for his documentary.

After Swetha Basu was sent to rescue home, Hansal Mehta is one of the directors who pledged to cast her in their films. Keeping up his promise, This acclaimed director spoke to the actress over the phone and also met personally. It was then Hansal Mehta offered a role for her in a documentary based on Hindustani classical music and Swetha has given her not instantly.

When mentioned about Swetha Basu's statement 'I Willn't Accept Any Roles Offered Out Of Pity', Hansal Mehta clarifies he didn't offer her a role out of sympathy but just because she is an incredible talent.
