The Malayalam version of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali is all set to be launched in a while in the god's own country, Kerala. The entire cast and crew of Baahubali was present in a press meet in Kochi this afternoon. Speaking on the occasion, Jakkanna spoke about the Hollywood influence on Baahubali.
Rajamouli said that there are bound to be similarities between Baahubali and several Hollywood classics like 300, Gladiator and Ben Hur. Rajamouli further stated that the similarities are due to the same genre in which these films are made. Film lovers very well know that all these three Hollywood classics are epic war films just like Baahubali.
Even though Baahubali boasts of grand periodic visuals and Hollywood standard visual effects, the emotional content is deeply rooted in the Indian epics like Mahabharat and Ramayana. The Malayalam version's audio launch will take place in a record breaking fashion this evening and with this, the audio release of all the versions will come to an end, paving way for more promotional events.
