Here are a few pictures of Tamil star and national award winning actor Chiyaan Vikram getting his makeup done by the prosthetic makeup experts from the New Zealand's WETA workshop for the hunchback role in Shankar's I. For this makeup, Vikram spent nearly 5 hours each day in the greenroom to get the perfect look of a disgusting hunchback.

When this Shankar's most awaited visual effects spectacle was released for Pongal, all eyes were on Vikram to see what this 48 year old star did in altering his body to dangerous proportions just to get the look right on screen. If he beefed up with a 6-pack for the bodybuilder's role, Vikram then lost all weight and brought it down to 40 kilos for the hunchback's role. Shankar himself revealed that even Vikram's wife was terribly scared about the extremes the star went to mould his body for the film.
