'Lingaa' collected a gross of nearly Rs 150 crore and share of Rs 78.5 by the end of 17 Days run at the Box Office. This Rajinikanth starrer has been sold out for skyrocketing prices across the World. The theatrical business of the movie is around Rs 140 crore. So, The estimates loss could be anywhere around 35 to 40 percent.
Even for break-even, 'Lingaa' has to collect a gross of Rs 250 crore. Producer Rockline Venkatesh made huge profits with 'Lingaa' but it was Distributors and Exhibitors who incurred huge losses.
