Hero Rajasekhar is eagerly waiting to strike back with his latest flick 'Geddam Gang', which happens to be a remake of Tamil hit 'Soodhu Kavvum'. Here comes the news about him building a statue for heroine Anushka.

Apparently there is character in this Geddam Gang, played by a newcomer, who builds a statue of his favourite on-screen heroine in his village. In the tamil version, that character was shown building a statue for Nayantara. But in Telugu, hero-producer Rajasekhar changed that to Anushka.

Shouldn't we call that as Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha's tribute to the star heroine? Currently dubbing work of this kidnap-comedy is going on a brisk pace and the film is expected to release soon.
