9th May, 2015 3:30pm     Bollywood      Comments
It is a known fact that actor Salman Khan’s five years jail term was suspended by the High Court. Former police officer Kiran Bedi said that the bail given to Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan has given the impression that VIPs and the rich people can avoid jail with best legal aid.

She tweeted “The “general impression” after the Bombay High Court suspended Salman‘s sentence in the 2002 hit-and-run case “is if u r a VIP, celebrity, privileged, rich and u can access best legal aid, you can avoid jail”.

It may be recalled here that a lower court in Mumbai sentenced five years jail term to Salman Khan for running over a man who is sleeping on a footpath in Mumbai. The High Court suspended Salman’s five year jail term on May 8th.

Salman Khan will resume shooting of his forthcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir today (May 9th).
