After Masss, Surya is donning the lead role in a film titled 24. Samantha is pairing with Surya. After Anjaan both of them are joining hands once again. Vikram K Kumar is directing the film. He had earlier directed Simbhu starrer Azhai and Madhavan starrer Yaavarum Nalam.

Surya is producing 24 under the banner 2D Entertainments. After Sillunu Oru Kadhal, Surya and A R Rahman are joining hands once again. Vinod Kumar is handling the camera. 24 is a sci-fi film.

The shooting of 24 commenced in Mumbai on 8th of this month and was going on continuously. Surya and Samantha participated in the shooting. Samantha after completing her portions has retuned back from Mumbai. The film Masss which has Surya in the lead role is being released on 15th May.
