With post-mortem reports stating that Nandamuri Janakiram died due to severe and sudden injury on his heart when his car steering has struck him so hard and his side-bones were fractured, experts predict that seat belt could have saved Janakiram's life. Even cops and doctors too felt the same.

But the cause of accident is because of the negligence of tractor driver who was trying to cross the road in wrong-route. The front part of Janakiram's Tata Safari (AP29 BD 2323) had hit the back portion of tractor (tractor trolley) leading to fatal accident. Unfortunately, it's a 2008 model Tata Safari which doesn't have option of air bags.

The accident site has a danger curve from where tractor was coming in wrong route and naturally, no one expects any vehicle from that side, said locales. Bad light also said to have played havoc.
