Actor Ajith, who was busy shooting for his forthcoming film Thala 56 was reportedly injured on the sets. According to the reliable sources, we heard that Ajith had minor injuries around his neck during a stunt sequence.

Sources say that Ajith continued his shoot after an immediate treatment. The shooting of Thala 56 was happening in and around Chennai.

Actress Shruti Haasan plays the love interest of Ajith in this film. Thala 56 is touted to be a family entertainer, Siruthai Siva of Veeram fame is directing and AM Rathnam is producing it.

Beautiful actress Lakshmi Menon plays as Ajith’s sister and it is heard that this movie will be high on brother-sister quotient.
