Shobu Yarlagadda, one of the producers of Baahubali had confirmed that it is them who approached Srimanthudu team for postponement and thanked them profusely for the decision which will benefit both the film. Baahubali will now be releasing on July 10th and Srimanthudu on August 7th.

"Baahubali Movie release date is not only compelled by post production works but also by our buyers and distributors across 4 languages. I met Srimanthudu producers some time back and explained our situation. I requested them to consider moving their release date if possible. We thank Srimanthudu Producers, Director and Mahesh Babu for understanding and maintaining a healthy relationship in the industry".
