Actress Dhansikaa recently put her martial art skills to good use. According to sources, the actress delivered a few blows to a gang of inebriated men who tried to attack her manager during a film shoot. Says a source, "Dhansikaa and her manager had gone to Vagamon (in Kerala), to shoot a song for the film Kaathadi. When the unit was setting up the lights, the actress was asked to wait in the caravan. There were a lot of visitors to the sets as always and among them was a group, the members of which were in a pretty inebriated condition. They demanded that the actress pose with them for a picture."

However, the actress' manager, realizing they were drunk, refused to permit it. "While her manager was explaining to the assistant as to why he could not permit them to click a picture, one of the members of the group, punched the manager hard in the neck and ran. While the manager nabbed one of the other members of the group, Dhansikaa, who saw them attacking her manager, stepped out of her van and punched some of the men who had misbehaved. By then, other members of the unit had also come to the aid of the actress and her manager."

Confirming the news, director Kalyan says, "It is true. We caught them and summoned the police. They took the men to the station and let them off with a warning."
