It looks like Lakshmi Menon, who crooned a song for Oru Oorla Rendu Raja, has once again turned to playback singing. Although the actress is busy with films, Lakshmi took time out to pursue her love for singing.

The actress, we hear, has now sung a song for Prashanth's upcoming film Saahasam and what's more, the song is a duet with Yo Yo Honey Singh. The music is by Thaman and Madhan Karky has written the lyrics for this song.

Thiagarajan, who is producing the film, confirms the news saying, "Yes, the song was recorded recently and Lakshmi has already rendered her portion. It is a peppy number and we are all set to record Honey Singh's bits too in the coming days. The song will be an introduction song of sorts in the film. We are also recording a different song with Mohit Chauhan and Arijit Singh in Mumbai later this week."
