As fans across the globe are expecting “Lion” to hit screens on May 8th, here comes the disappointment. The film isn't releasing on the said date as some last minute changes have laid troubles for producers.

Breaking news is that “Lion” will be releasing on May 14th with morning 9.46 am muhurat show. At first it is May 1st date for Lion, then it got preponed to April 30th and then got pushed to May 8th. Let’s hope the film will stick to it latest May 14th date.

Lion has Balayya playing the lead, while newcomer Satyadeva handled direction. Also the film stars Trisha and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Manisharma composed music.
