Many people from the industry were rather surprised at the 'hungama' created over 'Puri Jagannath' at the audio launch of 'Jyothi Lakshmi'.

Puri was felicitated by Charmee and his team in a rather grand way with a crown of flowers and huge garlands. There was a display of fireworks in the auditorium amid chants of ‘Jai Puri Jagan’ which rent the air.

Now such an extravaganza would have been understandable if the movie had released and been declared a success. But these kind of pre-release celebrations are a bit mystifying.

The yearly ‘Ratha Yatra’ of the Lord Jagannath in Puri is set to take place in a week or two. But thanks to ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’, one could already hear the cries of ‘Jai Jagannath’ already in Hyderabad.
