Natakireeti Rajendra Prasad says that he never played daagodumootha dandakor (Hide and seek) as a kid since his father was a tough school teacher. “But with this film, that wish has been fulfilled (smiles). And this film will be a treat for people who like joint families.
promoted me to a grandfather and a very lovable one at that. Every kid would wish for a grandfather like him,” said the actor, who is playing a key role in ‘Daagodumootha Dandakor’, a remake of Tamil hit ‘Saivam’.
Besides Krish, who is one of two producers of the film – the other being Ramoji Rao, he added that Rao’s son Kiran and Usha Kiran Movies representative Bapineedu were instrumental in the remake taking form.
He further said that the film is for everyone- from kids to senior citizens. The story of a little girl and her love for a rooster, the film, a rural-based comedy entertainer, will open in cinemas on May 9. RK Malineni is the director.
