Theri is the much anticipated movie which was released on 14th April on the occasion of Tamil New Year. Even though Atlee is a debut director, Vijay accepted this project only because of the story base and Raja Rani. Samantha and Amy Jackson are the female leads. Visual effects were awesome.
There are many reasons to like Theri. Atlee’s direction, Vijay’s teaser and Trailer, Top Heroines presence, Too much hype etc,. are the major facts.. It maintained its consistency in Collection point of view. Theri collected more than 28 crores across the world for the first day itself. In the second day it has collected more than 9 crores across the globe. In Tamil Nadu alone it collected 7 crores on its second day. It already got 3rd place through USA Premiere shows. Let us wait and see how many records that this film is going to break !!
