The theatrical trailer of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh was released along with the film's music album by none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi tonight. The film is set in the backdrop of a fictitious town of Rattanpur.
The trailer starts off with the atrocities of a cruel and ruthless feudal lord Bhairav Singh, played by Sharad Kelkar, monopolising the coal mafia in the area.
Then enters the majestic looking Kajal, the helpless princess belonging to a royal family. Kajal seems to be entangled between her love for Sardaar and the evilness of Bhairav Singh, who falls for her charms.
Here comes a maverick cop, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, who takes on Bhairav Singh to turn the savoir of Rattanpur. In his clash with Bhairav, Sardaar mouths several powerful dialogues such as "Okkadne..Okkadne ekkadikaina ilage vastga..ilage unta..janam lo unta..janamlaa unta".
And finally, comes the ending punchline, "Oyee..Peru gurthundigaa..Gabbar Singh..Sardaar Gabbar Singh".
Going by the trailer, the film looks rich in its production design. However, the main drawback is that the entire story and the conflict have been revealed within just 2:30 minutes trailer. Well, we will have to wait until the film's release on April 8 to see what's new has Sardaar Gabbar Singh got to offer us.
