Hotshot music director Thaman is a well known singer for his hit numbers like Sarosthara from Businessman, Le Chalo from Bruce Lee and Naari Naari from Aagadu. So far, Thaman only sang for his own compositions. However, he has just crooned for a song scored by Mickey J Meyer, his first time for other composers in Telugu.
Yesterday, Thaman recorded a song for Mickey's upcoming film, 'Okka Ammayi Thappa. This will be Sundeep's introduction song in the film and it features fast beats and peppy tune. When Mickey felt that the song will suit Thaman's style, he immediately placed a request and Thaman promptly obliged.
Okka Ammayi Thappa has Nitya Menen romancing Sundeep, and the film's talkie part has been completed already and the entire shooting will end with two more songs which are left to be shot. Rudhramadevi writer Rajasimha Thadinada is making his directorial debut with this film.
