It has already been widely reported that the shooting of Mahesh Babu's "Brahmotsavam" is progressing very slowly.
Director Srikanth Addala who is known to film the sequences at leisure pace is lagging behind the schedules.
The production house planned to shift the shoot of the movie to North India from March 1st and wrap the schedule by March 15th.
Since the scheduled sequences planned in Hyderabad haven't been completed, shifting the shoot to North India has been postponed. The movie is still progressing at a special set created in Ramoji Film City.
The North India schedule is said to be very crucial to the movie. It is not clear when the team will leave for Udaipur and other locations. Since this schedule has gone haywire, Mahesh Babu is worrying about the release.
He told the director to complete the entire movie's shoot by end of April or first week of May. But it is now doubtful that the movie would be completed by the first week of May.
"Brahmotsavam" stars Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Kajal Agarwal, Praneetha, Shayaji Shinde, Pragati and Nadiya. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film is produced by PVP Cinema with the camerawork by Rathnavelu. Music is being scored by Mickey J Meyer.
