Andhra Pradesh Assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao met chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday and discussed the proposal for setting up a temporary Assembly premises in Thullur.
However, due to budgetary constraints, Naidu declined the proposal made by the speaker. Naidu reportedly gave his consent for holding the budget session somewhere in AP. Reports also hinted that Naidu sought the opinion of some leaders on holding the Assembly session in the AgriGold-owned resort, Haailand, near Mangalagiri.
The boarding and lodging facilities for the legislative members will be provided in the resort, as per the sources.
