The Andhra Pradesh government has launched new education initiative in the state. HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that Tablets will be presented to the teachers working in government schools on the occasion of Ugadi festival. Ganta stated that 10,000 Tablets will be distributed to MEOs, headmasters and teachers within 15 days. The Minister said that the government wants to increase standards of government schools on par with private schools.
