AP will not be accorded with Special Status, Sujana Chowdary

TDP MP Sujana Chowdary on Saturday inaugurated the Mega Medical and Health Camp at Thotapalli, Agiripalli Mandal in Krishna district.

The TDP MP went on to say that AP will not be accorded with Special Status and the Central Government will sanction special package to the state. Mr Chowdary further added that the protest that is slated on August 11 for the special status will not have TDP leaders participating in it.

During a debate in Lok Sabha, Union Minister of State for Home Indrajit Singh stated that it is not possible to grant special status to AP or any other new state.
