Hyderabad: All Indian Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Digvijaya Singh's meeting with media baron Ramoji Rao has created ripples in political circles.
Accompanied by TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy, Digvijaya met Ramoji Rao at the latter's film city on the outskirts of the city. The Congress sources termed the visit as a courtesy call, many said that the meeting assumed significance in view of the upcoming by polls in the state.
It is said that Divijaya Singh also met Andhra Jyothi newspaper editor Vemuri Radhakrishna and editor of a popular Urdu daily. It may be noted that Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jaganmohan Reddy also met Ramoji Rao.
