All opposition party MLA'S except Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, were suspended from Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Wednesday for stalling proceedings in the House. Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad suspended all YSRCP MLAs by invoking Rule 329 of the AP legislative assembly rules and procedures. Opposition members were suspended till the end of the day.
The suspension decision was announced by Kodela after YSRCP MLAs insisted on a CBI probe into the AP Capital Area land scam.AP CM rejected the demand of opposition leaders but YSRCP MLAs raised slogans demanding CBI probe. As the situation went out of control legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu moved a resolution under Rule No 329, which was adopted by voice vote.
YSRCP MLAs Rachamallu Sivaprasad and Anil Yadav, who were not present in the house were also in the suspended list.
