Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states may receive heavy rains for next 24 hours, weather officials said.
With the effect of the cyclone in the west zone of Bay of Bengal, the monsoon has become active and therefore the weather officials have predicted a heavy rain in the next 24 hours.
There is a heavy rainfall in many parts of Nalgonda district and drizzling in many places across Telanaga region. Due to heavy rain, all the canals are filled with water in the Khammam district.
Vijayawada and Guntur zones recorded heavy rainfall of 6.6 MM since Thursday morning, the meteorological department official reported. The heavy rains are affecting the daily life, wherein children’s are not able attend their schools. The rain left one person dead due to a building collapse in the city.
