High tension prevailed in the HCU campus as the student organisations in  Hyderabad Central University (HCU) are severely opposing Prof Apparao's visit to the University as vice chancellor,who, they allege, was responsible for the crisis on the campus. Vice chancellor's cabin is totally demolished by the organisations. 

Prof Apparao has today visited the Hyderabad Central University after 3 months and held meeting with the ABVP and RSS activists. The Central Government had appointed a temporary Vice chancellor in place of Prof Apparao after student organisations protested against the latter in the Hyderabad Central University. The student organisations allege Prof Apparao responsible for Phd reasearch student Rohith Vemula suicide.

The Police are deployed in the University premises in large number. 

The student organisations are protesting against Prof Apparao and raising slogans against him.
