Hyderabad: Telangana employees working in 90 common PSUs listed under Schedule IX of the AP Reorganisation Act on Wednesday issued an ultimatum to complete the bifurcation of staff and assets and liabilities between TS and AP by July 31.
They warned that otherwise they would go on indefinite strike from August 1. The employees alleged that the boards of these institutions comprising AP officials were deliberately blocking bifurcation although the Act prescribed a deadline of one year and it ended on June 2, 2015. They said Andhra Pradesh officials were diverting bank deposits worth billions of these companies to AP.
“The boards of these PSUs are dominated by Andhra officials. They have hatched a conspiracy to stall bifurcation. Though the one-year deadline is already over things remain the same. Meanwhile, they are taking up fresh recruitments to help AP locals,” said S. Vijaya Mohan, chairman, Telangana Public Sector Employees Federation here on Wednesday.
He alleged that PSUs like the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation etc has bank deposits and assets worth thousands of crores, which AP officials are planning to divert to bank accounts in AP without consulting the TS government.
“The TS government should act swiftly and bring pressure on the Centre to ensure the speedy bifurcation of these PSUs. If it is delayed any further, not only TS employees, but also TS would have to pay a heavy price,” Mr Mohan said. He said the AP officials were blatantly violating Article 371(D) and the Presidential Order on fresh recruitments and promotions.
Health wing info not taken Details like the date of joining, transfers, postings and other service records of the health department in TS and AP have not been collected in proper format for the Kamalnathan Committee.
