Telangana Chief Minister KCR is racing ahead to get the prestigious “Indian of the Year-Popular Choice for 2014” award by a popular television channel.

Till recently, KCR was leading in second position while senior IPS officer from Kerala P Vijayan leading in the first position. Interestingly, KCR is inthe first position bagging 31 per cent of votes from people across the country. Vijayan dropped to second position with 21 per cent votes.

Going by the votes, KCR is all set to be the “Indian of the Year-Popular Choice for 2014”.

The award will be presented at a grand finale to be held in New Delhi on January 31.
