The people of Andhra Pradesh state are eagerly looking forward for the by election in Tirupathi. Congress party has failed to grab atleast a single constituency in 2014 polls and TDP reported maximum majority in the state while YSRCP forcibly satisfied with the opposition. Congress high command is very keen to open its account atleast in this by polls. In this scenario, they brought forward a poor lady Sridevi in the election battle.

Sridevi, a resident of Tirupathi is contesting in the elections from Congress party and she filed her nomination today. Congress Ex MP Chinta Mohan today participated in the nomination program and said that Sridevi can be the future CM of AP. "Congress party named Rudraraju Sreedevi as its candidate for the by-election to be held to the Tirupati Assembly constituency. We are hoping that the people of Tirupathi will give victory to sridevi. She is going to become a Mayavathi, Mamatha Benarjee and Jayalalitha and there is no surprise if this lady become the chief minister of the state in 2019."
