In his recent visit to Bethapudi village in Guntur district, Pawan Kalyan has made some serious comments about YSRCP and its leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He raised the issue of land grabbing and encroachments done by late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and his government. He highlighted the consequences of corruption that was done during the time of Congress party.

"YSR has introduced and implemented many useful schemes in the past. But at the same time, he was responsible for selling off the public properties and assigning them to his close associates and corporate companies. This has effected the livelihood of two to three generations of farmers in those areas. I would request the TDP government to focus on the corrupted leaders like these and use that recovered amount for the state welfare schemes."

Adding to that, Pawan said "I will not be making false and foolish promises about giving back the acquired lands like Jagan and other leaders, but will fight to stop the grabbing in first place."
