electricity charges increased in telangana, Telangana power charges hiked, Current charges tariff in telangana

Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission has hiked the Electricity charges in the state today. As per the reports, there will be no power hikes till the consumption of 200 units. Above 200 Units the power charges are increased by 1.3 percentage for house hold supply and 3.13 percentage for industries.

Overall the Electricity Regulatory Commission has increased the power charges by 4.42 percentage, which burdens the Telangana public by Rs. 860 crores. On the other hand, the power charges for poultry farms is decresed by Rs. 2 per unit.

The Power charges tariff in Telangana is as follows

0 to 200 Units- No Increase

Above 200 Units - Increase of 1.3 percentage for house hols and 3.13 percentage for Industries
