Vasundhara Raje,state industry minister,Resurgent Rajasthan 201,PM Modi,investment to the state
JAIPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be attending Resurgent Rajasthan 2015, which is scheduled to be held on November 19 and 20.
State industry minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar on Wednesday confirmed that Modi would attend the event, though it is unsure whether he would be part of it on the first day or the second. "As of now, PM Modi would be attending the event,'' said Khimsar.
According to sources, the Chief Minister's Office has also received an in-principal confirmation from the Prime Minister's Office. Senior officers confirmed that all preparations for the grand event are being done keeping in mind that Modi would be here for it. "Security and entry gates at the event are being planned accordingly," said an officer.
Resurgent Rajasthan is chief minister Vasundhara Raje's ambitious event to bring investment to the state. Raje, along with the cabinet ministers and senior bureaucrats, has been extensively travelling abroad and within the country to promote the event.
