New Delhi: Former Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar on Friday had to face ire of student activists of AISA, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party and LJP who threw rotten tomatoes, eggs and ink at him after he was brought to Bihar's Bhagalpur district as part of a probe into his alleged fake degree case.
According to news channels, as Tomar was leaving Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University after the probe was over, a group of students attacked him and also raised slogans against the former Delhi law minister.
The protesting students said they were angry with Tomar for bringing disrepute to the university. The AAP leader is being investigated for allegations that he forged his law degree from this Bihar university.

Tomar was questioned for over three hours in Principal RK Mishra's room in his presence, the officials said.
Some AAP workers assembled at the college gate and raised slogans against BJP for 'targeting' their party.
However, the local address given by Tomar during registration in the college was found to be 'not correct', the officials said.
Tomar had given his local address as Agrahan village but the villagers did not confirm that he stayed there during the period.
