Prime Minister Narendra Modi has yesterday remembered the dark days of Emergency which was imposed by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, 40 years ago. He tweeted that those emergence days were the darkest in the history of India and criticized Congress party for killing the voices of those who sought democracy. He called Democracy as the true way to develop the country.

Telangana IT Minister KTR immediately replied back to Modi with a counter tweet. KTR requested Modi to not suppress the rights of Telangana state, which was granted with all the commandments of Democratic India. He hoped that the history doesn't repeat, indicating that BJP is behaving like what Congress did 40 years ago.
