Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said that he hoped that Andhra Pradesh would become the aqua capital of the world.
He said that AP is already the aqua capital of India. He said that AP’s aqua turnover target will be Rs 2 lakh crore in the next 20 years and the state would provide all possible support for attaining this target.
Reacting to the request for a university and aquaculture, he said that he would fulfil all requirements, but expressed his inability to issue an statement due to the election code. He said that his aim was to evolve a new policy and increase exports 10 times in next decade.
