Hyderabad: The building plans for AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s Jubilee Hills house, that were submitted to GHMC, envisage a three-floor structure, about 13-metre high, with five bedrooms, a courtyard, a theatre hall and conference room. The GHMC has returned the file citing violations in terms of height.

The current structure is to be knocked down and construction for the new building is scheduled to start from December, however, it can be extended if permission is granted.
Mr Naidu has been living in his Jubilee Hills Road No. 65 house for about 30 years. It has only two bedrooms and a hall, besides an office.

The CM had planned to reconstruct the house to suit the family’s growing needs. Mr Naidu has shifted to a 6,000-sq. ft rented house in which he has made some changes according to Vastu and Feng Shui.

Before the building plans could be approved by the GHMC, certain minor construction works were carried out at Mr Naidu’s residence and GHMC staff thus stopped the construction activity. GHMC had said that pillars were laid in the said plot without permission.
