New Delhi: The Union Law Minister Sadananda Gouda gives a big shock to the AP government and to its Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Replying to a media question, he said “Centre won’t interfere in the disputes between the AP and Telangana states. We will interfere in the interstate issues only if both states approach us for our mediation. Home Ministry neither sought my ministry’s suggestion nor did we give any orders or suggestions to the Home Ministry over implementing Section 8 in Hyderabad. We have not given any orders to the Governor for implementing this section 8.”
So, the buzz in the media about the Home Ministry asking the Governor to invoke Section 8 also may be mere speculations. If so, Home Minister Rajnath Singh may ask the Governor Narasimhan to allow the ACB take action against the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and whoever indulged in the note-for-vote case. Governor will meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday morning.
