Power problem is the major issue for our telugu states. The summer season is nearing and we need to be pre planned to face the problems of power cuts. The entire two states will have to undergo this problem and there is no exemption for any area or village or town or city. The help being provided by the centre is a sigh of relief in this issue which brought smiles on the faces of officials.

The central government has accepted to supply 450MW additional electricity. This will be shared between the two states. 53.89 percent of this will be supplied to telangana state and the remaining will be shared with AP state as per the bifurcation bill. The resources used to generate 450MW electricity will be provided by central government.

Meanwhile Telangana government has requested centre to provide gas for generating 1000MW electricity which helps the state to face the electricity issues in summer. If the state has to purchase natural resources from Foreign companies, it results in additional stress on fertilizer companies. Telangana state is even ready to face that. 242MW of power is supplied to telangana government and the supply will start from 15th of this month. Telangana CM has been preparing strategy to avoid power deficit by 2018 ending.
