Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is all set to get two more convoys for security. One convoy will be kept in Vijayawada, and the other is expected to be stationed at Mr Naidu’s native district Chittoor.

 Mr Naidu has a luxury SUV as part of his present convoy, which is being used in Hyderabad, nearby areas as well as in Andhra Pradesh. Sometimes, the cops are left with no option, but to use the reserved bulletproof vehicles for him in some places, when he is on district tour.

The second convoy of nine bulletproof cars with jammer has been ordered from Pune, which will reach the state in next 10 days. The third convoy might take time, sources said. 

Officials said that Mr Naidu would be visiting Vijayawada and Guntur every week when the construction of the capital city begins in full swing. Due to this, the government has decided to order two more convoys for Mr Naidu.
