The City Civil Court today postponed the hearing in a case related to a dispute over the election to the post of president of Movie Artists' Association (MAA).

The hearing was supposed to be held today and the court was supposed to permit the announcement of the election result. Actor-politician Murali Mohan is reported to have submitted his counter appeal today in the court.

It may be recalled that the election officials had already submitted the video recording of the election process to the court. Actor Rajendra Prasad and actor-politician Jayasudha are fighting it out for the MAA president's post.
