Visakhapatnam: Protests by cadres of TD and Congress on varied issues across the three districts of north Andhra, marked the day on Tuesday. TD workers in large numbers gathered at Birla Junction and Jagadamba junction and staged protest against the Telangana chief minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao and YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, for allegedly conspiring to tarnish the image of party supremo and chief minister, N Chandrababu Naidu.

“Both KCR and Jagan had conspired against our leader to tarnish image. Telangana government had tapped the phone of our chief minister against the law and also released a doctored tapes while trying to convince public as they are real ones. None in AP is going to believe all this,” said Rajasekhar, a TD worker at Birla junction. They also burnt both the leaders in effigy. Similar protests took place in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam also. On the other hand, Congress cadres and leaders burnt the TD poll manifesto marking the one year TD rule in the state. They alleged that not even a single promise given by TD during polls has been implemented during the last one year.
