In a video conference with the Administrative staff of all the districts, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has read out the statement regarding the construction of new capital city. "We've decided to name our new capital as Amaravati and I would like to see every one of us participating in its development. You should be the partners in our Capital growth," said Naidu.

Apart from this, the CM has requested all the Government employees to donate at least a day salary of theirs to the Capital Development Fund. He assured that the collections will be transparent and get published every month. Chandrababu Naidu has requested the officials to come forward with their contributions to the state progress.

Though most of the employees are ready to donate, they have some questions too. "We will happily contribute to the construction of our capital city. Our only concern is about the utilization of the collected funds. What if the contributed funds gets used to run the welfare schemes of state?," asked one of the Administrative officials.
