Ex Congress MP threatens KCR,EAMCET,FAST,recruitment,Telangana State Public Service Commission
Hyderabad: Former Lok Sabha member, and congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar demanded the chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to come up with notifications for recruitment of vacant posts in the state government, release students’ fee dues and provide guidelines for fee reimbursement.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here today, Ponnam said if KCR failed to fulfill these demands, they would organize all the student unions into a joint action force and start agitation soon. He criticized KCR for creating confusion over the issues of conducting EAMCET, FAST, recruitment etc.
He condemned the decision of Telangana State Public Service Commission on the move to revamp the existing syllabus. He observed that the TSPSC should conduct recruitment examinations with the present syllabus only, otherwise government should provide Rs.10,000 as unemployment assistance to the students and also extend the age limit for competitive exams.
He also criticized TJAC chief Prof. Kodandaram and Prof. Haragopal for holding positions in the newly formed syllabus committee. This committee was meant for delaying the process of recruitment only, he added.
