Hyderabad: Media is abuzz with the reports that former CM of undivided AP state Kiran Kumar Reddy will be joining BJP when its president Amit Shah’s visit to Vijayawada on Thursday. But, Kiran Kumar Reddy has condemned the reports.He said that they are mere media speculations and he is not joining BJP.

It is to be noted that he never comes to media to condemn the speculations until now, but condemning just hours before Amit Shah’s arrival to the state. So, he might have changed his mind because Botsa Satyanarayana is also likely to join the BJP, who troubles him while they both were in the Congress party.

Earlier, Kiran Kumar Reddy was used to enjoy supremacy over him and rest of the leaders because of his position as Chief Minister. If, they both join the BJP then he should be prepared to get equal treatment with Botsa.

But, Kiran Kumar Reddy who always prefers to maintain utmost secrecy about his every move till last minute may be keeping his plans close to his heart.

However, he has only three options left before him. 1. Join BJP. 2. Return to Congress party.3. Retire from politics.

If, he do not join the BJP then he has to return to the Congress party, which badly needs a leader like him. But, if he returns to the Congress party, it would be committing politically suicide as the party has no scope to raise again in the state in near future.So, his options are narrowed down to just two either join the BJP or retire from politics. Probably, he may choose first option as he has long way to go in the politics. So, we may watch him wearing saffron cap on Thursday or later.
