Survey,Telangana Housing Survey Scheme,Housing Scheme,Fresh survey to be conducted in Telangana state
Hyderabad: Telangana state housing board is gearing for state wide survey very soon. This time it is to identify the eligible people for the two-bed room housing scheme promised by KCR during elections period. State housing board is flooded with applications for this scheme from all over the state. Whenever, Chief Minister KCR and his Ministers make district visits, they are also receiving hundreds of applications from the poor people for the same purpose. District Collectors are also receiving hundreds of applications for the same purpose.
So, the housing board decides to conduct a fresh survey to identify the eligible persons for this scheme. It prepares a form with 34 questions for this purpose. Once, the state government gives approval, a state wide survey will be conducted very soon.
This survey will gather information like applicants’ financial status, properties if any, Aadhar, bank and phone numbers etc.
Once all the details are collected from the applicants, then they will be cross checked with the government records to know whether they have obtained any such benefits before or not. Then, the concerned officer of the housing board, supervisor of the project and Tahasildar will sign the forms confirming the eligibility of the persons.
Telangana government is planning to construct two-bed room houses in 490 square feet area with an estimated cost of Rs. 4.61 lakhs. State government will pay Rs. 3.61 lakhs and rest of the amount (Rs.1 lakh) has to be paid by the recipients.
