Hyderabad: Thieves broke into the house of a retired MRO at Borabanda and decamped with about 16 tolas of gold and Rs 10,000 cash in the wee hours of Wednesday. According to SR Nagar police, Nirmala, along with her family went to attend a function at around 11.30 pm on Tuesday when the burglary took place.

“The miscreants entered the house of Nirmala in Borabanda Site I by scaling the wall. They broke open the main door and committed the theft. They made away with 16 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 10,000 cash kept in the house,” the police said.
