In an open revolt and defiance against her own uncle, Telangana CM KCR's brother's daughter Ramya has joined Congress party on Wednesday in the presence of TPCC chief Ponnala. Naturally, this set tongues wagging in political fraternity. Speaking after joining Congress, Ramya fired at her uncle. She said, "The TRS ruling seems like a family ruling. KCR and TRS are encouraging defections by suppressing Opposition parties. KCR did a big volte-face in the issue of Ramoji Film City lands. If KCR doesn't keep up the poll promises, people will teach him a lesson."

Ramya happens to be the daughter of KCR's elder brother. Recently, she alleged that KCR's kin is trying to occupy her land with his support. Now, her joining in Congress expected to stir up hornet's nest.
