Komaraiah Bhavan to Come up in Hyderabad,KCR announced 1 to 1.5 acres of land on construction of a building,KCR announced building for Kuruma community in Hyderabad

KOMURAVELLI : Promising to resolve all the problems being faced by the people of Kuruma community, chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao also announced that an estimated amount of `5 crore, and 1 to 1.5 acres of land will be allotted for the construction of a building for the Kuruma community in Hyderabad. The building will be named after Doddi Komaraiah, who died during the Telangana’s armed struggle movement, he added. KCR participated in the Komuravelli Mallanna jatara at Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy temple here on Sunday.

The CM said that the temple would be allotted more land depending on the availability of government lands in the temple’s surrounding areas.

“On Monday, the government will issue a GO allotting land and `5 crore for the Doddi Komaraiah bhavan in Hyderabad,” he said. Earlier, Kuruma Sangham leaders led by Sangham’s state president, Yegge Mallesham urged KCR to offer an MLC post for them, and requested the inclusion of Kuruma caste under the Scheduled Tribes category. KCR assured them that he would offer two important posts to the leaders of the Kuruma community soon.

Union minister, Bandaru Dattatreya, who belongs to Kuruma community, stressed the need for encouraging the right to education among the youth of the community.

Former minister from Karnataka HM Revanna and MLA R Krishnaiah spoke at the meeting.
