Hyderabad: It can't get ruder than this, but AP government is firm on its stand, be it loan waiver or the land pooling and also the privileged treatment of waiving farm loans to farmers who gave lands for land pooling for capital formation.
AP Government issued orders on loan waivers to all such farmers who gave lands for CRDA and according to this loans of all those farmers will be waived off by Apr 25th. To this effect government has initiated action too. The State Planning Board Vice Chairman Kutumba Rao will reside in Tullur area from today (Apr 16th) through Sunday.
Government already passed orders to waive off loans to the tune of 1,50,000 for all the farmers who obliged for land pooling and signed on agreement papers. However, the waiver was hitherto restricted to waive worthy farm loans alone. But in the wake of complaints from farmers who loaned for growing horticultural crops, government extended the waiver to all loans.
Government's decision of loan waiver is no doubt commendable if only it had extended it to all farmers. This privileged treatment is condemn-able to say the least!
