The MLC election Results were declared yesterday. The elections for two Graduates’ constituencies (Mahbubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad  and Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda) in Telangana state and two Teachers’ Constituencies in Andhra pradesh state( East Godavari- West Godavari and Krishna- Guntur )were conducted recently for which the Results were declared yesterday.

MLC Graduates’ constituency in Telangana

1. Mahbubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad  

The ruling TRS party suffered a big jolt in the MLC graduate election for Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad constituency. BJP candidate N Ramachander Rao trounced TRS contestant G Deviprasad with a margin of 13,318 votes. Meanwhile, invalid and NOTA (none of the above) accounted 8,433 and 521 votes respectively.

MLC Teachers’ Constituencies in Andhra pradesh

1. East Godavari- West Godavari

In the counting of votes for East and West Godavari Teachers’ Constituency the UTF candidate Ramu Surya Rao won against the TDP's candidate K.V.V. Satyanarayana Raju.

2. Krishna- Guntur

TDP bags the first teachers’ constituency MLC post after bifurcation of the state. Telugu Desam Party supported candidate A.S. Ramakrishna won for Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Teachers' Krishna- Guntur Constituencies on Wednesday.

He was ahead of his nearest rival K.S. Lakshman Rao, backed by United Teachers Federation (UTF) and bagged 6980 voters out of the total of 13, 047 votes as against the rival PDF candidate getting over 500 votes.
